Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphin

Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are shallow coastal water species found in the Southeast and East Asia regions. Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins are born grey, and they gradually lose their grey pigmentation and turn mottled or completely pink as they mature. They are one of the common coastal cetacean species found in Malaysian waters.‚ 

Irrawaddy dolphin

Irrawaddy dolphins are found in both freshwater and marine environments in the South and Southeast Asia region. The Irrawaddy dolphin has a rounded head with no beak and a small stubby dorsal fin, and they are generally shy and evasive.

Dugong

Dugongs are found in the tropical and subtropical coastal waters of the Indo-Pacific region. Dugongs live strictly in the marine environment and they feed solely on seagrass. Dugongs are known as ‚“sea cows‚, and are close relatives of manatees and elephants.
